My name is Megan and I love puppies!
I'm also a big fan of social justice, reconciliation, and sustainable development.
I have a masters in sustainable development and Masters thesis related to the
application of Liberation Theology and the principles of sustainability short-term
mission in the Episcopal Church.
This past year I worked for a mental health charity working with young people and
their families. My work involved offering advocacy and emotional support to young
people, organizing a regular youth group, and managing volunteer life coaches.
I also have experience supporting at-risk young people through outdoor experiences,
vulnerable witnesses during the court process, taught human rights in schools and
community centres and visited people waiting in custody to ensure the individuals'
rights are respected.
My work and experience have helped my soul hear what it didn’t know it already knew.
